TRILOGY
NJ Empire Powered by Trilogy Lacrosse
Trilogy Lacrosse is pleased to partner with the NJ Empire to provide the area with the best Lacrosse Club experience. This relationship brings together the best of both worlds – a national organization dedicated to creating new and dynamic resources with a local management team committed to the players and their families.
All of the Empire Coaches are trained in the Trilogy Lacrosse Curriculum ensuring a standard level of organization across all aspects of the game. While the staff enjoys a certain level of autonomy with their teams, they must adhere to specific Trilogy Lacrosse requirements that they believe are necessary for success.
Trilogy Lacrosse provides extra resources available to the Empire through their website and special events. These include the Recruiting and Locker Room sections, which are online educational platforms that you should visit frequently. Inside the Recruiting section, you will find incredibly useful tools such as Templates, Podcasts, and Videos walking you through the process. Additionally, as a member of the Trilogy Lacrosse Club family, you will have the opportunity to attend a Recruiting Seminar where we walk you through the necessary steps to play at the next level.
The Locker Room gives players and parents a peek into the everyday lives of the Trilogy Lacrosse National Directors. Listen to their pre-game music, read an article, watch an instructional video, or study up on a new Man up Play – all in the same place.
Lastly, Trilogy Lacrosse is committed to creating new and innovative services that are passed along to the NJ Empire Lacrosse Club and their families. Whether it’s a new drill, podcast, or corporate sponsor, we will keep you posted. In the meantime, we look forward to providing the absolute best lacrosse experience in the country.
Jim Stagnitta
Director of Lacrosse Clubs
After being named Head Coach at Washington and Lee University in 1989 Jim has spent the next 23 years building a resume of success both on and off the field. He built Washington and Lee into a national championship contender with a final four appearance in 2001 and national rankings in the top ten during the prior 4 seasons.
Named Head Coach of Rutgers University in 2002, Jim led Rutgers to back-to-back NCAA tournaments in 2003 and 2004. This turnaround earned him Division 1 national coach of the year honors in 2003. Over this course of time he built up the MVP teaching and tournament camps, which is now considered one of the top college exposure tournaments in the country. Having experience as an Ivy league player and coach along with his D-1 and D-3 coaching resume, Jim not only brings experience to the Trilogy team but a wealth of knowledge that will serve our teams and programs on many levels.

“I’ve been fortunate to be a part of Trilogy Lacrosse for several years. After understanding who they are and their core values, I realized Trilogy Lacrosse was more than just a lacrosse company. Trilogy Lacrosse is a passion that lives within us to make this game and the people within it better. Trilogy, like lacrosse is a vehicle to teach life lessons and mold the next generation of lacrosse players.”
